The Pista GP RR is the revolutionary new top-of-the-range model, developed in collaboration with Valentino Rossi and other riders from the World Championship Series. This helmet sets new standards in terms of protection and ergonomics, making it the benchmark for professional race helmets.
The carbon fiber shell and the EPS internal components were optimized using FEM (Finite Element Analysis) techniques to obtain an extremely high-performance helmet in terms of size, light weight, and protection. The result is a helmet that is significantly superior to the limits set by ECE standards and weighs just 1,275 g (refers to MS size in the ECE 2205 version).
The entire ventilation system was designed using computational fluid dynamic modeling and wind tunnel tests, making this helmet highly efficient at removing heat and moisture from the rider's head. Thanks to its large rear spoiler, the Pista GP boasts first-class performance in terms of aerodynamic penetration and high-speed stability.
The visor aperture is 9% bigger, providing a 15-degree improvement in vision, which enhances the active safety factor. The visor has a 190-degree horizontal field of view and an 85-degree vertical field of view. It is scratch-resistant, clear, and has tear-off pins, making it suitable for tear-off shields. The 5mm thick visor is class 1 optical standard approved for excellent vision, and a 100% Max Vision Pinlock (120) is included.
The Pista GP RR features a 100% carbon fiber shell, four shell sizes, and five-density EPS developed in four sizes. The shell and EPS structure are designed to minimize rotational accelerations, and it is FIM homologated. The helmet also has a collarbone-safe profile, a detachable PRO Spoiler, and race suit fitment.
The metal air vents and extractors (five front vents and two rear extractors) provide efficient ventilation, ensuring the rider's comfort during long races.
